Sault Police have charged Montana Lewis, who has also been charged with murder, with obstruction of justice.
A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service alleges that between Nov. 19 and Dec. 14, the accused was in contact with an individual he was prohibited from communicating with.
"While communicating with them, it is further alleged he told them not to talk about an ongoing investigation," the release states.
The 18-year-old accused, already in custody at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre for the Nov. 12 stabbing of Samuel Graham which resulted in his death, was charged with obstructing justice and breach of recognizance on Dec. 16.
