Sault Ste. Marie Police Services have arrested and charged a 27-year-old from Bruce Mines in relation to a break-and-enter that occurred in November 2021.
According to police, the officers responded to a break-and-enter in progress in the 300 block of Third Avenue on Nov. 9, 2021. While on the scene, the officers found out that someone broke into two sheds. During the search, the police found property from the sheds nearby; the suspect was not located at that moment.
Police later identified the accused who was involved in this incident.
On Jan. 6, 2023, officers attended the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre, where the accused was in custody on unrelated charges, police say.
As a result, Daniel Campbell was charged with breaking, entering and committing.
Campbell was held in custody pending an appearance in WASH court.
