CRIME OF THE WEEK: $10K in equipment stolen from Hilton Beach, Searchmont MTO yards

The break and enters happened between the morning hours of April 12 and noon on April 14

Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are looking for your help to solve two break and enters that occurred in April.

Unknown individuals gained access to Ministry of Transportation yards in Hilton Beach on April 12, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m. and Searchmont between April 12, 2025, at 10 a.m. and April 14, 2025, at noon, making off with approximately $10,000 worth of tools and equipment.

It is believed the same suspects were involved in both incidents, as a U-Haul van was observed entering both properties during the time frame in question.
