Female Charged with Assault A 21 year old female has been charged with 1 count of assault after assaulting her boyfriend. It is believed that the accused was visiting her boyfriend at his east end residence at about 4:30 am this morning.
Female Charged with Assault

A 21 year old female has been charged with 1 count of assault after assaulting her boyfriend. It is believed that the accused was visiting her boyfriend at his east end residence at about 4:30 am this morning. The accused that had been drinking alcohol is alleged to have kneed and punched the victim, causing an injury to his neck. Police were called and the accused was arrested and will be appearing in court today.

Shoplifting from the LCBO

Police have arrested 52 year old Bradley Vincent Holmes and 49 year old Rene Lamarch both of no fixed address. It is believed that the two accused attended at the LCBO at 293 Bay Street just after 1pm. While inside the store accused Lamarch selected 2 375ml bottles of rum and placed them inside his jacket and accused Holmes selected 3 375ml bottles of vodka and placed them in his jacket. The accused then both exited the store and were apprehended by mall security. They have been charged with 1 count each of theft under $5000 and will appear in court on the 21st of January.

Mischief

On the 10th of December a 40 year old male attended at the residence of an ex-girlfriend and attempted to kick the door in. The accused left the scene and police were called. The accused attended at the station yesterday at 1:30pm and was charged with 1 count of mischief under $5000 and will be appearing in court on the 21st of January.

Two Charged with Stealing From Sears

1) On the 14th of September 2007 23 year old Dylan Albert Jocko of 26 and a half Wallace Terrace attended at Sears at 293 Bay Street and stole a Columbia Jacket valued at $129. The accused on this date was observed leaving the store with the Jacket but when security attempted to catch him, he dropped the coat and ran. The accused was again observed by security to be in the Sears Store yesterday just before 3pm. The accused was identified as the one who stole the jacket. Police were called but by the time they arrived the accused was already on a city bus. The bus was stopped on foster drive and the accused was arrested and charged with 1 count of theft under $5000. The accused is to appear in court on the 21 of January.

2) 18 year old Allysha Marie Wilson of 248 Albert Street West has been charged with 1 count of theft under $5000. It is believed that the accused attended at Sears Store at 293 Bay Street and stuffed a watch valued at $49 into the sleeve of her coat then attempted to exit the store. She was arrested and held for Police. She will be appearing in court on the 28th of January.

Breach

A 35 year old male has been charged with 1 count of breaching his order of prohibition. It is believed that the accused male was on a prohibition order to not be in the presence of children under the age of 14 years when on the 30th of July he babysat two children under the age of 10 years. Information was received by police who subsequently put a warrant out for his arrest. The accused attended at the station yesterday evening just before 9pm and was charged accordingly. He will be appearing in court on the 28th of January.
