Shoplifting
23-year-old Ahmed Alrefaee of 27 Terry Fox Place apartment # 305 was arrested on the 15th of December 2011 at 5:25 p.m. at Walmart for shoplifting. It is alleged that on the 15th of December 2011 at 5:25 p.m. the accused was in the Walmart store on Great Northern Road and stole two controllers valued at $109.84. He was arrested by store security and held for police. The accused was charged with Theft Under Five Thousand Dollars and released with a court date of the 16th of January 2012.
Break And Enters
A residence on Grosvenor Avenue was entered through a rear window sometime between 5:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on the 15th of December 2011. Money and clothing were stolen.
A residence in the 300 block of Wilson Street was entered by forcing in the rear door sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Nothing appears to have been taken.
A residence in the 200 block of Patrick Street was broken into through a back window sometime last evening through a rear window. Jewelry and a camera were taken.
There was an attempted break and enter into a residence in the 200 block of Pim Street sometime last evening via the front door. The person or persons were unsuccessful in gaining entry.
Criminal Harassment
34-year-old Joseph Maximillion Bryze of 463 Shannon Road was arrested on the 15th of December 2011 at11:45 a.m. at his residence for criminal harassment. It is alleged that the accused harassed an adult female known to him by repeatedly calling and leaving phone messages. The incidents are alleged to have occurred between September and December 2011. This culminated on the 13th of December 2011 when the accused engaged in threatening behavior towards the victim by yelling at her in person and waving his arms at her.
He was also on probation at the time with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior. He was subsequently charged with Criminal Harassment and Breach of Probation. He was given a court date of the 23rd of January 2012.
Possession Of Stolen Property
19-year-old Cody Lee Allan Roach of 36 Birch Street and19-year-old Lindsey Fay MacLeod of 283 Selby Road were both arrested on the 15th of December 2011 for possession of stolen property. It is alleged that on the 5th of December 2011 the accused parties attended at a local pawn shop and pawned a piece of jewelry that had been reported stolen in a break and enter.
The break and enter had occurred to a residence in the 100 block of Birch between October 15th and October 17th 2011. At the time the accused Codie Roach was on a probation order with the condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior. They were both charged with Possession of Stolen Property while Roach was additionally charged with Breach of Probation and released with a court date of the 23rd of January 2012.
Mischief
The front window of a residence on Princeton Drive was reported smashed last evening at 10:30 p.m.
