ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING Yesterday at 4:45 pm Craig Witty, age 30 of 137 East St. allegedly exited a store in the Station Mall without paying for some merchandise. He concealed the item in his pants and left the store.

Yesterday at 4:45 pm Craig Witty, age 30 of 137 East St. allegedly exited a store in the Station Mall without paying for some merchandise. He concealed the item in his pants and left the store.

A store employee stopped the accused outside the store and arrested him for theft under. Police were called and arrested and charged the male with Theft Under $5,000.00. Officers released Witty from custody with a court date of January 27th.

MAN ASSAULTS NEIGHBOUR
Following a neighbour dispute that escalated, a 49-year-old male finds himself with a court date on Feb. 3rd for assault. Officers were called to a residence on Old Goulais Bay Road yesterday at 5:00 pm for a neighbour dispute.

The officers learned that the 49-year-old male had made threats to his neighbour and then took a swing at him. Officers subsequently arrested and charged the male with Assault, releasing him with a court date of Feb. 3rd.
