ASSAULT CHARGES 24 year-old Craig Lecuyer turned himself in to police yesterday and will appear in court on March 22nd having been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
ASSAULT CHARGES

24 year-old Craig Lecuyer turned himself in to police yesterday and will appear in court on March 22nd having been charged with assault causing bodily harm. The alleged incident took place on December 12th of last year at about 2:00 in the morning on Queen Street East. Mr. Lecuyer is reported to have punched the victim in the face causing injury that required surgery.

BREAK&ENTER CHARGES

Chris Proulx, age 28 of 35 Nicholas Street was arrested and charged on the 19th of Feb. with break and enter, mischief and assault. Mr. Proulx is alleged to have broken the door window at a residence on Wellington Street East, then went in to the residence and assaulted the resident. Mr. Proulx is scheduled to appear in court on March 22nd.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE LEADS TO MULTIPLE CHARGES

A 26 year-old male will appear in bail court this morning on several charges that are the result of a domestic dispute from the 19th of February. The man is alleged to have broken in to the residence of the complainant, assaulted and confined the occupant to the residence and caused damage while inside the residence. The accused is charged with break and enter, use of a firearm in a hostage taking, assault, mischief and breach of probation.

OUTSTANDING ARREST WARRANTS SERVED

33 year-old Marc Henry Beaulieu was arrested by patrol officers yesterday on Queen Street East and will appear in bail court this morning. Officers executed outstanding arrest warrants on Mr. Beaulieu for mischief and 3 counts of failing to attend court. The charges are the result of an incident that began on June 8th of 2003.

TOLD TO STAY AWAY…DID NOT

A 24 year-old Sault Ste. Marie man will appear in court this morning after his arrest at 3:29 this morning. The accused is said to have been at a residence in the west end of the city after he had been drinking, a residence that he is to stay away from. The man now faces 3 charges of breach of recognizance and 1 count of breach of probation.
