Outstanding Warrant for Possession of a Weapon

24 year-old Crystal Pickering of 158 Harmony Beach Road, Harmony Beach, Ontario was arrested on the 28th of February at 3:55 pm at the city police station after turning herself in on an outstanding warrant. She was charged with one count of possession of a weapon for purpose dangerous to public and one count of threaten death or bodily harm. It is alleged that on the 27th of February at approximately 2:30 pm the accused threatened to kill a female known to her while she was waving a knife in her face. The incident took place at the victim’s west-end residence. There were no injuries reported. The accused is to appear in court on the 7th of April.

Sexual Interference and Sexual Assault

A 36 year-old male was arrested last evening around 8:03 pm by officers from Investigation Services and charged with three counts of sexual interference and two counts of sexual assault. It is alleged that between the 1st of September 2006 and the 14th of February 2008 the accused touched two female relatives in an inappropriate manner. The accused is to appear in court on the 7th of April.

Shoplifting from Rome's

18 year-old Jessica Boucher of 21 Breton Road and another 14 year-old female youth were arrested at around 8:20 pm on the 28th of February at Rome’s Independent Grocer on Great Northern Road and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 28th of February at approximately 8:08 pm the two females attended at Rome’s and stole merchandise valued at $122.58. They were apprehended by store employees and held for police. The 14 year old youth was further charged with one count of breach of probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act as she was on probation conditions at the time of the offence to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. She is to appear in court on the 1st of April.
The accused Jessica Boucher is to appear in court on the 31st of March.

City police conducted a R.I.D.E. Program last evening:

-There were 40 vehicles checked
-Four roadside tests administered
-Two 12 hour suspensions were issued
-Two 90 day suspensions issued
-Two highway traffic act charges

The following two males were arrested:

Arrested and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of fail to provide breath sample was 51 year-old Roger Robidoux of 27 Panoramic Drive. When the accused was brought to station he refused to provide a breath sample. He is to appear in court on the 7th of April.

Also charged with one count of consume over the legal limit was 20 year-old Nicholas Tatasciore of 115 Pentagon Boulevard. He is to appear in court on the 7th of April.
