MORE CHARGES LAID (updated at 2:30p.m. today)
Late yesterday evening at 10:50, police arrested 46-year-old Craig Remeau of Colorado Springs for impaired driving. Investigations resulting from the arrest led to further charges. It was learned that he was in possession of a stolen vehicle, a stolen firearm and in possession of a restricted firearm. He appeared in bail court this afternoon at 1:30.

BREAK AND ENTERS
Thieves gained entry to an Insurance Company in the 100 block of March Street by forcing open a rear office window. Luggage and personal papers were stolen.

A law office in the 100 block of Elgin Street was entered early this morning. Thieves broke a side window and stole a small amount of cash.

The West End Shoe Store on Bruce Street was entered last night. It is not yet known if anything was taken.

Last night at 10:30, thieves broke into a residence in the 600 block of McNabb Street by forcing a rear window. Once inside they discovered that the premises was alarmed and they fled
