MORE BEARS IN THE CITY Since yesterday morning, the city police service has responded to 6 more bear calls. The bears were sighted in the backyards of residences in Fort Creek, the 300 block of Brule Road and Ascot/Durban Road.

Since yesterday morning, the city police service has responded to 6 more bear calls. The bears were sighted in the backyards of residences in Fort Creek, the 300 block of Brule Road and Ascot/Durban Road. The owner of a home in the 1600 block of Second Line West advised police that a bear left paw prints on his vehicle. A bear entered the backyard of a residence in the 4900 block of Third Line West and knocked over a composter.

BREAK AND ENTERS
Police responded to 2 break and enters yesterday. Thieves attempted to gain entry to Ernie's Coffee Shop at 13 Queen Street East. They pried off the rear screen door but could not gain entry through the rear metal door. Thieves did gain entry to an office space located on the second floor of a business at 324 Queen Street East only to find the office was vacant.

STOLEN CAR
