MAN ARRESTED FOR THEFT Yesterday, City Police from the Criminal Investigations Unit arrested Corey Tucker, age 31, of 164 Alexandra Street.
MAN ARRESTED FOR THEFT
Yesterday, City Police from the Criminal Investigations Unit arrested Corey Tucker, age 31, of 164 Alexandra Street. It is alleged that Tucker stole money and computer parts from the cafeteria of Algoma Steel between August 16 and 28. Tucker has been charged with theft under $5,000 and break and enter. He will appear in court on Nov 18.


LOST HUNTER IS ARRESTED
Yesterday, officers arrested Mr. Franklin Derose, age 52, of 965 Leigh's Bay Road, who had been reported missing earlier this week and was the object of a large search by police and Search and Rescue. When police went to his home to check on his well being, they found 25 shotguns, 13 rifles and a handgun all of which were not stored safely. Mr. Franklin has been charged with unsafe storage of firearms and will be appearing in court on November 18th. Police seized all the weapons in the home.
