Two males to appear in bail court: 1) At approx. 11:00 pm last night city police were called to the Boundary Rd. and Trunk Rd area regarding a possible impaired driver.
Two males to appear in bail court:

1) At approx. 11:00 pm last night city police were called to the Boundary Rd. and Trunk Rd area regarding a possible impaired driver. Upon checking the area the officers observed a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle. It is alleged that the driver was travelling at speeds in excess of 100km/h, in a 50 km/h zone and swerving from lane to lane. The vehicle was stopped on Murphy St. and upon speaking to the driver the officers noticed that he was under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation revealed that the driver was prohibited from driving - for a prior impaired driving conviction. Upon searching the accused the officers located a small quantity of marihuana on his person. The accused was also on probation at the time of these offences. Drew Boyer, age 40, of 101 Murphy St. was arrested and charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of drive over 80 mgs, one count of possession of a substance, one count of breach of probation and one count of drive while prohibited.

2) At approx. 12:15 am this morning city police were called to a residence in the downtown area regarding a domestic dispute. It is alleged that the male involved in the domestic was on a recognizance release and a probation order release with conditions to stay away from the female complainants address and to not communicate with her. As a result the 44-year-old male was arrested and charged with two counts of breach of recognizance and two counts of breach of probation.

Male arrested for impaired driving:

Yesterday afternoon at approx. 2:30 pm city police stopped a vehicle on Second Line E. for a Highway Traffic Act offence. It is alleged that when the officers spoke to the driver they detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. As a result Michael Vignini, age 32, of 422 Old Garden River Rd. was arrested and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of drive over 80 mgs. He will be appearing in court on Nov. 24 at 9:00 am.

Thefts:

A vehicle parked in the 600 block of Korah Rd was entered - a wallet with identification was reported stolen.
A bicycle was reported stolen from the 100 block of Dablon St.

Mischief:

Another residence in the 100 block of Wardell Rd had the mailbox damaged.
A garage in the 100 block of Albert St. E. had graffiti spray painted on the door.
