Male to appear in bail court Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 31-year-old male and charged him two counts of breach of a recognizance.

Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 31-year-old male and charged him two counts of breach of a recognizance. It is alleged that between Aug 20th and Sept 1st 2010 the accused male breached conditions of his recognizance by sending letters to his ex-common law partner. At the time of these offences the accused was on conditions to not communicate with the victim.

Female arrested for failing to appear for court
Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 45-year-old female and charged her with one count of failing to appear for court. It is alleged that the accused failed to appear in court on August 23rd. Kathy Harrison, age 45, of 314 Albert St. E. Apt # 6 is scheduled to appear in court on Monday October 4th at 9:00 am.

Break and enter
Break and enters were reported to residences in the 100 block of Blucher St – unknown what was taken; and the 100 block of Cameron Ave - electronic items were stolen.
A business in the 800 block of Queen St. E. was entered and vandalized. It is unknown if anything was taken in the break-in.

Mischief
A vehicle was damaged in the 100 block of Foothill Rd.

Theft
A boat gas tank was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Market St.
Personal items and papers were stolen from vehicles in the 300 block of Bay St. and the 1200 block of Queen St. E.
Personal papers were stolen from a vehicle in the 1200 block of Queen St. E.
Two youths were seen entering vehicles in the 200 block of Glen Ave this morning at about 5:30 am. The suspects were described as being 14-17 years of age and were wearing light coloured clothing. The suspects were last seen on Glen Ave. heading towards Denwood Dr.
