TWO NEW POLICE OFFICERS The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service will be swearing in 2 new police officers today at 9:30 am at the Court House on Queen St.
TWO NEW POLICE OFFICERS
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service will be swearing in 2 new police officers today at 9:30 am at the Court House on Queen St. The two new recruits: Darren Sirie and Robert Wright will be sworn in front of Judge Whalen this morning at 9:30 am. Both recruits completed the twelve-week Basic Constable Recruit Training Course at the Ontario Police College on August 29th.

Recruit Constable Sirie is a graduate of the Lake Superior State University Criminal Justice and Fire Science Program. He was previously employed as a correctional officer with the Ministry of Corrections. Recruit Constable Wright is a graduate of the Psychology Program at Algoma University. He was previously employed as the manager of a local sporting goods store.

Both Officers have been assigned to Patrol Services and will assume full policing responsibilities, under the guidance of their coach officer, following their swearing in ceremony.
