There is a strong odour of gas in the area of White Pines Collegiate and Vocational School on Trunk Road.
City Police, Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services and Union Gas are all on scene.

Road Closure
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to advise the public that Trunk Road will be closed between Dacey Road and Fournier Road for several hours due to a gas leak in the area.
Motorists are asked to avoid this area while crews work to resolve the issue.
