A Sault man has been accused of stealing medication from his employer for the purpose of trafficking.
Sault Police say an investigation into unaccounted for medication began in August 2020.
A press release issued by the police service today states officers believe between Nov. 4, 2019 and Aug. 10, 2020, the accused stole roughly $1,254 worth of medication from his employer.
As a result, Matti Pulkkinen, 40, was arrested on Thursday and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of trafficking and theft under $5,000.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 21, 2020.
