A complaint about an erratic driver has led to charges for a 45-year-old.
Sault Ste. Marie Police say the 911 call came in at around 7 p.m. Sunday about a vehicle in the area of Third Line East and Great Northern Road.
Arriving officers found a suspect vehicle in a parking lot in the 300 block of Great Northern Road.
Once the officers spoke with the driver, they suspected he may be impaired by alcohol.
Officers read the accused a demand for a breath sample, and he refused to provide one, police alleged in a news release.
He was arrested.
Charles McBride is charged with refusal to comply with a demand.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
