INTOXICATED 17-YEAR-OLD ARRESTED
On Saturday at approximately 9:50 am, patrol officers were called to a residence on Timothy Place regarding an intoxicated female to be removed from the home. The female in question was 17 years old. Police checks revealed the female was on recognizance with a curfew to be in her residence at 8pm each night and not to consume alcohol.

Police noted the female to be obviously intoxicated with a strong odour of alcohol and slurred speech. The youth admitted to being away from her residence all night. Police arrested and charged her with Breaching her Recognizance. She will appear in youth court in early January.


HUSBAND AND WIFE ASSAULT EACH OTHER
Saturday at approximately 4:35 pm a 57-year-old female of Cathcart St. assaulted her 54-year-old husband by slapping him.
