YOUNG THIEF ARRESTED On September 10, a 17-year-old male stole a purse containing identification and keys belonging to a female victim from the Smart Food Shop, 473 Queen Street East. The victim was able to identify the accused.
YOUNG THIEF ARRESTED
On September 10, a 17-year-old male stole a purse containing identification and keys belonging to a female victim from the Smart Food Shop, 473 Queen Street East. The victim was able to identify the accused.

Detective's attempts to locate the accused proved negative and a warrant was requested. On October 23rd the same17-year-old male entered the staff locker room at the Queen Elizabeth Pool, situated at the John Rhodes Centre. In the locker room he stole a lighter, cigarettes and money belonging to an employee there.

A second employee saw the male exiting the locker room and confronted him. He then fled from the pool. On November 2nd at 12:12 pm patrol officers located the young offender and arrested and charged him with two counts of Theft under $5,000.00 and two counts of Breach of Probation. He is scheduled to appear in bail court.
