ARRESTED FOR STEALING VAN
Over the weekend, City police arrested three young offenders for theft over $5,000, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and possession of house breaking tools, and breach of probation. Police were patrolling the downtown area when they observed a 1995 green Plymouth van. Police stopped the van and discovered they knew the driver and passenger as young offenders. They were arrested for theft of the van.
CAUGHT ON VIDEOTAPE
City police arrested Mark Edward Reed, age 34, of 555 Parliament Street for theft from a Mac's Milk Store at 655 Wellington Street. Mr. Reed was caught on videotape stealing two cartons of cigarettes. He was located at a friend's house.
POLICE CHASE SUSPECT
Gordon Jonathon Bussineau, age 20, of no fixed address, was arrested over the weekend on outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court. A short foot chase ensued when police located Bussineau but he was arrested a short distance later. Found on Bussineau was a health card and iden
