One person is facing charges in a February robbery.

Sault Ste. Marie Police were called to a business in the 0-100 block of Great Northern Road at around 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 25.

“An investigation revealed the accused had stolen items from the business and, when confronted, threatened to harm employees with a needle,” said police in a news release.

A warrant was obtained for her arrest.

Yesterday, investigators charged 28-year-old Shelby Elie with robbery and failure to comply with a probation order.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
