A handgun-style pellet gun was seized during an arrest early Friday.
At around 1 a.m., Sault Ste. Marie Police say officers on patrol spotted a person walking on Wellington Street who they believed were in breach of their release order.
When the officers tried to make an arrest, police say the suspect resisted.
Officers were able to gain control and search the suspect, which police say turned up a pellet gun.
Kaleb Demour, 31, has been charged with:
• Carrying a concealed weapon
• Resisting a peace officer
• Fail to comply with a release order x2
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
