Police charge another Saultite in Project Kentucky

This brings the total number of individuals charged in connection with Project Kentucky to 27, with a total of 250 charges laid to date

Sault Police have charged a 45-year-old woman with trafficking a schedule I substance and possession of property obtained by crime as part of Project Kentucky.

At around 10:30 a.m. on May 6, detectives located and arrested Marlene St. Germain on the strength of a warrant.

St. Germain is charged with:

  • Traffick in Schedule I Substance (Fentanyl) x2
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x2

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.

This brings the total number of individuals charged in connection with Project Kentucky to 27, with a total of 250 charges laid to date.
