The City Police Service was called to a downtown location in response to a robbery in progress. At 1:55 this morning police arrested 22-year-old Elliot Southwind of 16 Terry Fox Place.
It is alleged that Southwind tried to relieve a cab driver of his money. A citizen who witnessed the alleged attempted robbery called police. There were no injuries and no weapons involved.
Police also picked up two males for being intoxicated in a public place.
