DOMESTIC DISPUTE
City police had a fairly quiet night. A 27-year-old male was charged with assault as the result of a domestic dispute. During an argument with his wife he punched her and banged her head on the fridge.
Police say this couple has a long history of violent domestic disputes. The assailant cannot be identified as that would also identify the victim. He will appear in court this morning.
CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
Shayne Bell, age 22, was charged with assault causing bodily harm and mischief as the result of an altercation early this morning at 12:30.
He allegedly punched the victim several times breaking his tooth. Bell is also accused of smashed a 13 inch TV. He will appear in court this morning.
