One person is facing assault charges after an incident at a multi-unit residential building last week.
Sault Ste. Marie Police were called to the 400 block of Queen Street West at around 11:45 a.m. on Friday, April 18.
Officers were told the accused had pushed someone known to them and threw a mousetrap at them.
No physical injuries were reported.
Bibiane Lapaine, 61, was charged with assault and assault with a weapon.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
