FIRST STOLEN SNOWMOBILE OF THE SESAON City police have had their first report of a stolen snowmobile this season. Yesterday between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., a red 2000 Polaris, model 600 XCSP was stolen from the 100 block of Louise Drive.

City police have had their first report of a stolen snowmobile this season. Yesterday between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., a red 2000 Polaris, model 600 XCSP was stolen from the 100 block of Louise Drive. The machine was driven away in an easterly direction.

A snow blower was stolen yesterday from an address in the 1200 block of Queen Street East.


DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED
At 12:09 a.m. today, Darrel Dowding, age 29 of 172 Cathcart Street was driving his vehicle east on Wellington Street East when he was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Douglas Glover of 50 Herrick Street.

When officers arrived they discovered that Mr. Dowding's ability to drive was impaired by alcohol He was subsequently charged with impaired driving and will appear in court on January 6th. Glover suffered minor injuries that did not require hospital attention.
