ARRESTED FOR FRAUD On or between September 9, 2002 and November 4, 2002, Jennifer Lipinski, age 24 of 681 Metzger St. allegedly made 27 fraudulent merchandise cash refunds or void transactions while employed at Smart Set store in the Station Mall.
ARRESTED FOR FRAUD
On or between September 9, 2002 and November 4, 2002, Jennifer Lipinski, age 24 of 681 Metzger St. allegedly made 27 fraudulent merchandise cash refunds or void transactions while employed at Smart Set store in the Station Mall.

Lipinski allegedly forged merchandise refund documents in the names of acquaintances and forged their signatures as if they were true customers causing Smart Set to act on them as if they were true in order to defraud the store of cash. Total fraudulent loss was $1262.54.

The accused turned herself into police on Wednesday. Detectives from the Fraud Unit charged her with 27 counts of Uttering a Forged Document and Fraud under $5,000.00. She will appear in court Mar17th.


STOLEN CARD NUMBER LANDS TWO IN JAIL
On Wednesday, Blake Hudson, age 20 of 28 Hughes St. and a 16-year-old male co-accused were in possession of a credit card number and made attempts to purchase items from Peoples Jewellers located at 293 Bay Street. The accused, Hudson, also made a purchase from Laura Secord at 293 Bay Street and had these items delivered.

Hudson, on the 11th of February, allegedly made attempts to order merchandise from Primo Pizza, Aurora's West Side, and The Downstairs Bar, but was not successful. Also on the 12th of February, the accused attempted an order from Sweet Greetings, but the transaction was never completed.

Yesterday at 4:03 pm patrol officers arrested and charged Hudson with Possession of Stolen Property, 8 counts of Use/Attempted Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

He will appear in court on March 17th. The young offender has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. He will appear in youth court in mid March.


MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
On February 11th, the accused, a 30-year-old male, a resident at a group home, assaulted a female worker by grabbing her left cheek and scratching it.

The male assaulted another staff member who came to assist the victim by grabbing her hair and attempting to bite her while both were trying to restrain him. At 10:10 am yesterday morning patrol officers arrested and charged the male with two counts of Assault. He will appear in court March 24th.


TASERED WHILE RESISTING ARREST
Yesterday at 12:06 am, patrol officers were called to the Roadhouse Bar at 743 Trunk Road to have Kelly Boyer, age 27 of #114 Lake St. removed.

A police records check revealed that Boyer was on conditions to abstain from the consumption of alcohol and a curfew between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Boyer was located at midnight still inside the bar, drinking a beer. When police advised he was being placed under arrest for the breaches, Boyer pushed away the arresting officer and attempted to grab his taser.

Boyer actively resisted the arresting officers. In order to gain control of the accused, Police tasered him. Boyer has been charged with Resisting Arrest and two counts of Breach of Probation. He will appear in bail court today.
