DOMESTIC DISPUTE ASSAULT CHARGES A 42 year-old male from Sault Ste. Marie will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested and charged following a domestic dispute in the city’s downtown area on Tuesday of this week.

A 42 year-old male from Sault Ste. Marie will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested and charged following a domestic dispute in the city’s downtown area on Tuesday of this week.

The man is charged with 4 counts of assault and 1 count of threatening to cause death or bodily harm. The incidents are alleged to have taken place over a period of time beginning in early December.

FENDER BENDER
A motor vehicle collision yesterday afternoon at 2:49 resulted in 36 year-old David Moon of 79 Grove Crescent being charged with Following too Closely. Mr. Moon was driving his car east on Queen Street near the Church St. intersection when he rear-ended a van being driven by David White, age 33 of 150 Elmwood Avenue.

Mr. White was slowing down, preparing to make a left turn when his vehicle was hit. There were no injures reported and minimal damage done to the cars.

SNOWBLOWER THEFTS
A Craftsman 36” cut, 12.5 hp snow blower was reported stolen from a residence on Park Street on Tuesday of this week. The snow blower is green in color. It was taken sometime during the day.

A Mastercraft 26” cut, 10 hp snow blower was reported stolen yesterday from a residence on Wallace Terrace. This snow blower is red in color and was also taken during the day.

EAST SIDE RINK VANDALIZED
Theft from Outdoor Rink: After 10 pm Tuesday evening someone stole the Bose speakers from the East Side Rink. Volunteers with the rink reported the theft to police yesterday. Thieves removed 2 outside speakers that were attached to the rink shack.
