BREAK & ENTERS, VANDALISM
There were two reported break and enters yesterday, taking place in the 100 block of Caddy Avenue and the 100 block of Spadina Avenue.

Vandals were responsible for three different complaints of mischief in the upper Lake Street and Princess Crescent areas yesterday. Lawn ornaments were damaged at one address in the 100 block of Princess Crescent.

A second report of mischief was made when planters were overturned and garbage strewn about at another residence on Princess Crescent. Meanwhile a residence in the 1100 block of Lake Street was egged.

Last night several vehicles were reported entered and vandalized in the following areas: the 900 block of North Street, the 100 block of Bloor Street West, and the 100 block of McCrea Street.


CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
Early this morning City Police were called to an address in the 400 block of Queen Street in regarding a dispute. Upon arrival, the officers arrested Robert Charron, age 44 of no fixed address, and charged him with Assault.

It is alleged that he assaulted a 51-year-old male that was known to him. The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of being punched and kicked. Mr. Charron will be appearing in Bail court to day at 1:30 PM.


ATTEMPTED THEFT
Yesterday afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., a male person was seen attempting to steal a vehicle on
Canal Drive. Employees of the Sea Lamprey Control Centre scared him off.
