SEXUAL ASSAULT

A 22 year old male has been charged with 2 counts of sexual assault, 2 counts of sexual interference and 1 count of invitation to sexual touching. It is believed that between March 1998 and December 1999 the accused repeatedly sexually assaulted two females under the age of 12 years. It is also believed that the accused again sexually assaulted the same two females between January 2002 and December 2003. The accused was babysitting the two females at the time of all the assaults. The accused will be appearing in court on the 8th of July.

MALE DAMAGING METERS

26 year old Joshua Brandon Smith of 48 Tilley Road has been charged with 1 count of mischief under $5000, 1 count of theft under $5000, and 1 count of possession of property obtained by crime. It is believed that earlier this morning the accused was observed in front of Joe Sports on Queen Street smashing parking meters and taking change from the meter. Police were called and the accused was arrested at 2:35am. He will be appearing in bail court this morning.

MISCHIEF

• Windshield smashed in the 100 block of Pilgrim Street.
• Parking meters smashed on Albert Street West.
• Door kicked in the 200 block of 4th line.
• Railway car containing gasoline had the dome cover damaged and seal broken off.

BREAK AND ENTERS

A home in the 200 block of Beverly Street was broken into. Unknown at this time what was taken.

A garage in the 1000 block of Lake Street was broken into. Taken were a set of Cobra golf clubs and a black mountain bike.
