MISSING PERSON LOCATED The Sault Ste Marie Police Service investigators have confirmed that Michael Doucette has been positively identified by witnesses as being in the Parry Sound area after he was last seen in the Sault.

The Sault Ste Marie Police Service investigators have confirmed that Michael Doucette has been positively identified by witnesses as being in the Parry Sound area after he was last seen in the Sault.

Doucette had been reported missing on March 5th. It is believed that he travelled to the Parry Sound area with an exotic dancer he spent several days with in Sault Ste. Marie.

The police service does not know Doucette's current whereabouts but it is believed he is ok and still in the company of the exotic dancer.

Since Doucette is from the Brampton area, and no foul play is suspected, the missing person investigation has been concluded.


MAN ARRESTED AT COURT HOUSE
Yesterday at 10:40 am police officers went to the Court House at 426 Queen Street East in regards to a warrant for the accused, Martin Suomi, age 32 of 365 Lake Street, Apt. #115, for Failing to Appear for Prints. Patrol Officers executed the warrant and charged Suomi with Failing to Appear for Prints. He will appear in court April 21st.


MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
Yesterday at approximately 7:00 pm, a 28-year-old male assaulted his ex common law wife by grabbing her by the arms and not letting her go.

The 22-year-old female finally did get to leave and called police. At 9:25 pm police officers went to an east end address and arrested the male for assault. He will appear in court April 21st.


GRABBED LIQUOR AND RAN
Yesterday, the accused, Brian Gough, age 18 of 489 Cathcart Street was observed in the Station Mall Liquor Store at approximately 8:50 pm.

He allegedly committed theft by taking a bottle of wine and fleeing from the store. The accused was chased by a citizen and apprehended a short time later behind a Queen Street East address.

Police attended at the area and took custody of the accused at 9:05 pm. Patrol officers arrested and charged Gough with Theft Under $5,000.00. He will appear in court April 14th.


BREAK & ENTER
Yesterday afternoon patrol officers were called to Bridgetown Realty at 144 Gore Street where thieves had attempted to break into the business. Anyone with information on this matter is asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service at 949-6300 or Crime Stoppers.


TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated 10 motor vehicle collisions yesterday. At 8:49 pm patrol officers were called to a collision on Raymond Street.

Officers noted that Kelly Court, age 43 of 20 Avon Street was driving her 1992 Plymouth Van east on Raymond Street, intending to turn left into a private driveway.

Jeff Gibson, age 25 of 411 First Ave. was driving a 1992 Ford vehicle eastbound on Raymond Street behind the Court van. Gibson decided to overtake the Court van and began to pass it in the westbound lane.

As Gibson's vehicle was overtaking the van, the van began its left turn across the westbound lane and into the path of the overtaking vehicle. The left front corner of the Court van struck the right front corner of the Gibson vehicle.

Court received minor injuries in the collision and was transported to hospital by ambulance. Court has been charged with Turn not in Safety under the Highway Traffic Act.
