YOUTH ARRESTED FOR HASH OIL POSSESSION Yesterday at 1:30 pm, patrol officers were called to an east end elementary school where a 13-year-old male student had in his possession a five-gram vial and 2.5-gram vial for a total of 7.
YOUTH ARRESTED FOR HASH OIL POSSESSION
Yesterday at 1:30 pm, patrol officers were called to an east end elementary school where a 13-year-old male student had in his possession a five-gram vial and 2.5-gram vial for a total of 7.5 grams of a black tarry substance.

The 2.5-gram vial was empty and the 5-gram vial had less than 2 grams in it. Officers believed the substance to be hash oil. Officers arrested and charged the youth with Possession of a Controlled Drug and brought him to the police services building. He was turned over to his grandparents and is scheduled to appear in court in mid January.


MAN ASSAULTS SNOWBALL THROWER
Yesterday, in the early evening, Fredrick Bedell, age 42 of 270 Dacey Road allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old male by grabbing him by the collar of his clothing, knocking him to the ground and attempting to drag him.

The young male did not require treatment for his injuries. It is believed this action was precipitated by a snowball-throwing incident. Patrol officers arre
