Two Bail Court Appearance Arrests

23 year-old Justin Whalen of 284 Kingsford Road was arrested on the 14th of February at 6:02 on Gore Street and charged with one count of personation with intent, one count of public mischief and one count of breach of release document. It is alleged that police received a call just before 6 pm on the 14th of February of a male possibly in possession of a gun in the area of Albert Street East. Police located the male fitting the description on gore Street. The male falsely identified himself at the time and when officers ran a check on him, he was found to be on a recognizance bail order to be in his place of residence. The gun was located in a residence in the area that the accused had entered just prior to being arrested and it turned out to be a plastic gun. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

A 23 year-old male was arrested in the downtown area on the 14th of February at 5:46 pm and charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm and three counts of breach of a release document and on the 4th of February. It is alleged that the on the 7th and 14th of February the accused was involved in two domestic disputes with his girlfriend and during one of the disputes he threatened to injure her. When officers located him, he was found in possession of a cell phone and when they ran a check on him they discovered that he was on a recognizance bail order with conditions of house arrest, to be residing in Toronto and not to be in possession of any cell phones. He is to appear in bail court this morning

Driver Charged with Consuming over the Legal Limit

57 year-old Leslie Gagnon of #401 100 James Street was arrested on the 13th of February at 2:41 am at Canada Customs on Huron Sttreet ad charged with one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that his vehicle was stopped and checked at Customs and at the time he was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He registered a fail on the roadside screening device. He is to appear in court on the 15th of March.

Shoplifters Arrested

41 year-old Mark Reed of 109 James Street was arrested on the 12th of February at 4:40 pm at Canadian Tire and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 12th of February at around 4:21 pm the accused attended at the store and stole a Motomaster power converter. He was apprehended by security and held for police. He is to appear in court on the 8th of March.

47 year-old Todd Petrie of #2-142 Albert Street East was arrested on the 12th of February at 2:25 pm at Mark’s Work Warehouse in the Station Mall and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that he attended at the store just after 2 pm on this date and stole a pair of work boots. He was apprehended by security and held for police. He is to appear in court on the 8th of March.

Break and Enter Reports

• A residence on Caledon Street was entered over the weekend and a television, jewellery and a laptop were reported stolen.
• Domino’s Pizza on Northern Avenue was entered sometime between 3 am and 9 am on the 13th of February. Cash was reported stolen.

Thefts

Vehicles were entered and some items were stolen, in the areas of Queen Street East, Park Street, Terry Fox Place, East Street and Ferguson Avenue.

Mischief Report

There was broken glass found in the parking lot and some graffiti reported at the Market Mall over the weekend.
