The following three persons were arrested on outstanding warrants: 1) Lisa Mortari, age 29, of #303-136 Bay Street in Hamilton Ontario was arrested on the 12th of January at 2:55 pm at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre on outstanding warrants.
The following three persons were arrested on outstanding warrants:

1) Lisa Mortari, age 29, of #303-136 Bay Street in Hamilton Ontario was arrested on the 12th of January at 2:55 pm at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre on outstanding warrants. She was charged with one count of fail to appear court and two counts of breach of probation. She will be appearing in bail court this morning.

2) Ryan Walker, age 34, of 10 August Street was arrested on the 12th of January at 3:16 pm at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre on an outstanding warrant. He was charged with fail to appear for fingerprints. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

3) Jeremy Meloche, age 36, was arrested at 8:55 am on the 12th of January on an outstanding warrant at the city police station. He was charged with two counts of breach of a release document for not reporting to the Sault Ste Marie Police Service on the 8th of December, 2008 and also failed to notify his change of address as required in his release order. He is to appear in court on the 9th of February.

Male Arrested for Impaired Driving:

Michael Osborne, age 48, of 3013 Ringham Street in Hilton Beach was arrested on the 12th of January at 2:05 pm on Third Line East and charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of consume over the legal limit and one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 12th of January at approximately 2:00 pm city police received information about a possible impaired driver in the area of Great Northern Road and Third Line East. An officer on patrol in the area stopped and checked the vehicle in the 600 block area of Third Line East and at the time the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested. The accused was also on an undertaking release document with conditions not to consume any alcohol. He is to appear in court on the 23rd of February.

Property Crimes:

Thefts:


• A utility trailer was stolen from the rear yard area of Elliott Engineering on Cedar Street sometime after the 7th of January. The trailer was 7 x12, single axle, black in colour.
• A shed on Fourth Line West was entered overnight and two Supercycle bikes were reported stolen.
• Vehicles on Moss Road, the 400 block of Fourth Line West and the 500 block of Third Line West were entered. Items stolen included a MP3 Player, keys and a garage door opener.
