SOCCER VANDALISM
There was a break and enter reported yesterday to the building at the main soccer field on Rossmore Road. City employees who discovered that the building had been entered and damaged called patrol officers.

It was reported that there was plenty of damage done to the metal doors and the locking mechanisms. Also damaged were the porcelain sinks, mirrors, chairs, toilet seats and tanks and the shower faucets and handles.

This occurrence is currently under investigation. If anyone has any information about this incident they are asked to call the City Police or Crime Stoppers.

ACCIDENT NEAR GARDENS
A motor vehicle accident on Bay Street by the Memorial Gardens parking lot resulted in a 20-year-old male being charged. The man was travelling eastbound on Bay St. in the second lane from the left side of the road and tried to make a left turn into the Gardens parking lot.

While making the turn the vehicle struck a second vehicle that was east bound in the left curb lane. The man was charged with making a turn not in safety. There was light damage to both vehicles and there were no injuries reported.

HARASSMENT CHARGE
24-year-old Ryan Matthew DiTommaso of 108 Louise Street was arrested early this morning and charged with criminal harassment and threatening. The alleged incident is reported to have occurred between January 1st and March 16, of 2004. During this time DiTommaso is said to have followed the complainant to her workplace, to her home and to friends' houses.

He is also alleged to have called the complainant at these locations after being told not to call. Prior to his arrest this morning the accused threatened to cause death to the complainant. Mr. DiTomasso will appear in court on April 19th.
