WILD WILD WEST 20 year-old Colin West of no fixed address was arrested and charged with 2 counts of fraud and 2 counts of theft yesterday at 2:15 pm.

20 year-old Colin West of no fixed address was arrested and charged with 2 counts of fraud and 2 counts of theft yesterday at 2:15 pm. West is alleged to have made empty envelope deposits at the CIBC on Great Northern Road on February 4th and 6th, and then made withdrawals from that account.

Mr. West is also alleged to have taken jewelry from a home on Atwater Street. In March he took a ring valued at less then $5000 and in April he took 2 necklaces and 2 bracelets of a value less than $5000 from the same complainant. Mr. West will appear in bail court this morning.

B&E ON WELLINGTON EAST

42 year-old Robert Wilson of 27 Tower Street and 38 year-old Linda Porter were both charged with break and enter following a break-in to a residence in the 100 block of Wellington Street East.

Residents found a broken window at their residence and noticed that several items were missing from their house including VHS movies, CD’s and frozen food. Patrol officers on Queen Street East located Mr. Wilson at approximately 5:45 pm and Ms. Porter was arrested at 6:40 pm at her residence at 45 Wellington Street East. Mr. Wilson is also alleged to have breached his probation by failing to keep the peace and being of good behavior and for failing to notify the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service of his change of address. Both accused persons will appear in court on June 14th.

FACE THE MUSIC

Pamela Martin, age 18 of 27A Albion Street was arrested and charged with theft under $5000 yesterday afternoon at 4:40. Miss Martin is alleged to have gone into the Zellers store in the Station Mall and went to the entertainment section where she took 7 CD's. Miss Martin then proceeded to exit the store without paying for the merchandise when store security apprehended her. Miss Martin was then turned over to city police officers. Miss Martin will appear in court on June 14th.

YOUNG OFFENDER

A young offender will appear in bail court this morning after being charged with 2 counts of breach of probation. The probation order contained conditions that the young person reside at the family residence and attend school. Between May 7th and 10th the accused is alleged to have not stayed at the family residence and on May 10th the young person did not attend school.

BACK IN BAIL COURT

Andrew David Richards, age 18 of 79 Pilgrim Street will be appearing in bail court this morning after he was arrested and charged with 3 counts of threatening death and 3 counts of breach of probation. At approximately 9:45 last night Mr. Richards threatened 3 people in his residence. At the time Mr. Richards was also on probation to abstain from the consumption of alcohol, and to keep the peace and to be of good behavior. Mr. Richards was arrested at approximately 9:55 pm.

B&E ON DEVON

38 year-old Patrick Lee Scott of 358 Devon Road was arrested at approximately 10:00 last night after patrol officers responded to a break and enter on Devon Road. The officers observed that a residence in the 300 block of Devon Road had been entered forcibly and that there was liquor, musical instruments and frozen food taken from the house. It is reported that when the officers attended at the scene, Mr. Scott turned himself in to the officers. Mr. Scott is scheduled to appear in court on June 14th.
