SNAP-ON TOOLS STOLEN THEN RECOVERED City Police Officers investigated a break and enter that occurred between 5:00 pm on Sunday and 7:00 am on Monday.

City Police Officers investigated a break and enter that occurred between 5:00 pm on Sunday and 7:00 am on Monday. Thieves entered Nichols Auto Shop at 1205 Peoples Road by knocking out a wooden panel of the garage door and opening it.

Once inside it appears that they backed a vehicle into the garage area next to a large toolbox and put it into the vehicle and drove off. The toolbox contained a large quantity of Snap-On hand tools as well as some diagnostic equipment. Most of the tools will be engraved with either "J.ROY" or "J.B.ROY". The value of the stolen property is estimated at $15,000.00.

Detectives from the Police Services Investigation Services Section yesterday at 10:23 pm solved this break-in. Detectives arrested and charged Jody Swanson, age 18 and Tiffany Wilson, age 18, both of #304 Queen St. West with possession of the stolen Snap-On tools.
