Five Persons to Appear in Bail Court 1) An 18 year-old male was arrested on the 8th of October at Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and charged with one count of criminal harassment and three counts of breach of probation.
Five Persons to Appear in Bail Court
1) An 18 year-old male was arrested on the 8th of October at Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and charged with one count of criminal harassment and three counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused has harassed his ex-girlfriend for the past two months by continuously attended at her place of employment and other places she was at. At the time the accused was on probation with conditions that he not attend at her place of employment, to not harass, molest, or in any manner interfere with her and he was to keep the peace and be good.

2) A 23 year-old male was arrested at a west end residence and charged with one count of assault and three counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 8th of October at 6:40 pm the accused attended at the residence of ex-girlfriend and assaulted her. At the time of the incident the accused was on probation with conditions that he not attend at the victim’s residence, not to communicate with her and he was to keep the peace and be good.

3) A 45 year-old male was arrested on the 9th of October at 12:15 am at his residence and charged with one count of threatened death or bodily harm and one count of criminal harassment. It is alleged that in the past four months the accused has criminally harassed his ex-common law partner by continuously attended at her place of employment, leaving notes for her and communicating with her. The accused had been previously warned to stay away from her and not to harass her.

4) A 21 year-old male was arrested on the 10th of October at 4:25 am at his residence and charged with one count of assault, one count of resist arrest and one count of forcible confinement. It is alleged that on the 9th of October the accused assaulted his girlfriend while at his residence. When the victim attempted to leave the accused continued to assault her and would not let her go. When officers attended at the residence and attempted to arrest him, the accused continuously struggled, pulled away and refused to comply with the officers. The victim received non-life threatening injuries.

5) A 23 year-old male was arrested on the 10th of October at 2:20 pm on McNabb Street and charged with one count of mischief under $5,000, one count of breach of probation and three counts of breach of a release document. It is alleged on the 10th of October the accused attended at a local storage location when his ex-girlfriend was present, got into a verbal argument with her while there and damaged some of her personal belongings. At the time he was on probation and a recognizance order not to communicate with the victim, not attend where the victim is present and further he was to keep the peace and be good.

Male Arrested for Aggravated Assault
On the 9th of October at 10:50 am Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Detectives arrested 37 year-old Jason Mcgrayne of 1296 Haviland Shores Road, Goulais River at the police station and charged him with one count of aggravated assault. It is alleged that on the 9th of October at approximately 2:30 am the accused got into a physical altercation with a 27-year-old male outside a local bar. The 27 year-old male received serious head injuries as a result and was medevaced to a hospital in Sudbury. The accused is to appear in court on the 8th of November.

Female Arrested for Theft of Vehicle
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 42-year-old Tammy Coccimiglio of no fixed address and charged her with one count of theft over $5,000. It is alleged that on the 11th of October at approximately 2 pm, the accused was at a residence of a male known to her and took his a 2000 Ford Windstar van without his permission. The accused is to appear in court on the 15th of November.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 14 year-old female youth on the 10th of October at 12:57 am a at the police station and charged her with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the night of the 8th of October the accused assaulted a female known to her while in a bush area off of Queen Street East. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result. The accused is to appear in court on the 9th of November.

Break and Enters
• A residence in the 500 block of Brunswick Avenue was entered. It is not known at this time what is stolen. Damage was reported inside the home as well.
• An attempt break and enter was reported to the Fisheries and Oceans building on Canal Drive.
• An apartment on Goulais Avenue was entered – nothing was reported stolen.
• A shed on Royal York Boulevard was entered. Stolen was an 850 Watt Generator.
• A motor home in the 400 block of Bush Street was entered a PS3 System and a Titanium bike was reported stolen.

Mischief Reports
• A vehicle on White Oak Drive was keyed. Two males were observed fleeing afterwards – one had a goatee and was wearing a hoodie with a white shirt. The second male was heavy set, approximately 250 pounds, with a black back pack.
• A vehicle in the 100 block of Champagne Drive was damaged when unknown person/s jumped on the hood.
• Election signs were reported damaged on Second Line West in the Prince Township area.
• A trailer was vandalized and a scooter battery was stolen in the 800 block of Wellington Street East.
• A vehicle parked in the Cambrian Mall lot was vandalized by graffiti.
• A window at a residence in the 300 block of Cathcart Street was broken.
• A building in the 700 block of Queen Street East had a front door window smashed.
• A building on Great Northern Road near Willoughby Avenue had two windows smashed out.
• A rock was thrown through a kitchen window of a residence on West Street on Saturday night.
• A rock was thrown through a window in the 200 block of Gloucester Street on Friday night.
• A vehicle window on Gravelle Street was smashed out.

Theft Reports
A number of vehicles were entered throughout the city over the long weekend – Several of the vehicles had windows smashed out as well to gain entry. Items reported stolen included several wallets and purses, an iPod, credit cards, driver’s licences, CD’S, money, a Mag Light, a JVC digital camcorder, a Cannon Power Shot digital camera, a Simple Tech external hard drive, a Garmin GPS unit, and a Blackberry.
