TRUCK ROLLS OVER City police investigated a single vehicle rollover that occurred on Melrose Avenue at 8:30 yesterday evening.

City police investigated a single vehicle rollover that occurred on Melrose Avenue at 8:30 yesterday evening. It appears that a 1991 GMC S-15 truck, driven by Gregory Smith, age 20, of 310 Albert Street East was travelling at an excessive speed.

It is alleged that he was travelling westbound on McNabb Street and when he attempted to turn southbound onto Melrose Avenue, he ran off the road and rolled over. He has been charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident, careless driving, failing to report an accident and failing to provide insurance. There were no injuries.


ARRESTED FOR BOGUS CHEQUE
Christopher Moar, age 20, of 35 Borron Avenue, allegedly went to the Money Mart on Great Northern Road yesterday with a cheque for $500 made out to himself on someone else's account. The clerk checked the signatures and they did not match. Police were contacted around 4:00 p.m. They charged Moar with possession of stolen property and uttering a forged document. He will app
