Unresponsive driver in drive-thru charged with impaired

An Alberta resident has been accused of impaired driving in Sault Ste. Marie.

At around 12:30 a.m. Monday, someone called 911 to report an unresponsive person at a drive-thru in the 300 block of Great Northern Road.

Arriving officers found a running vehicle in the drive-thru with the 38-year-old in the driver’s seat.

Police say the suspect refused to provide a breath sample.

Bradley Stuebing of Duffield, Alberta was charged with: 

  • Operation While Impaired – Drug and/or Alcohol
  • Refusal to Comply with Demand
  • Dangerous Operation

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
