MR. SUB ROBBED Yesterday at 10:20 p.m. there was a robbery at the Mr. Sub shop at 41 Great Northern Road. A lone male entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. He was given a small amount of cash before he left the shop.

Yesterday at 10:20 p.m. there was a robbery at the Mr. Sub shop at 41 Great Northern Road. A lone male entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. He was given a small amount of cash before he left the shop. The suspect is described as being 6 feet tall, thin build with a moustache & medium-length hair that is light brown or blonde. He was wearing a blue and white chequered flannel shirt (long sleeve), blue jeans and white sneakers. The robbery is still under investigation.

CAR ACCIDENT SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL
Yesterday afternoon at 4:31 there was a motor vehicle accident on Pim at Herrick Street. A vehicle being driven by Adam Barnhardt, age 20, was eastbound on Herrick Street when it skidded into the intersection and struck a vehicle operated by Mirja Makila, age 66. Mrs. Makila was taken to hospital with minor injuries. There was severe damage to both vehicles. Bernhardt has been charged with failing to stop at a stop sign.
