59 year-old Sebastiano Milia was arrested on outstanding warrants yesterday morning and will appear in court on March 15th. Mr. Milia is alleged to have broken into a residence on Wellington Street East on the 29th of January where he struck the resident with a piece of wood, threatened the resident and caused damage to the interior of the residence.

Mr. Milia is charged with break and enter, assault with a weapon, threatening to cause death and mischief.

MISCHIEF CHARGES

A London Ontario man will appear in bail court this morning after having been arrested and charged last night at 11:33 p.m. Marc Alan Buggie, age 36 is reported to have kicked in the rear door of his sisters apartment and then attempted to lead patrol officers to believe that the door was damaged by the ex-boyfriend of his sister.

Mr. Buggie is charged with Mischief and Public Mischief by making a false statement.

HIT & RUN SENDS WOMAN TO HOSPITAL

A 2-vehicle collision on Second Line West at 1:48 this morning sent one woman to the hospital with injuries that she received as a result of the accident. Stephanie O’Dell was operating her vehicle west bound on Second Line when a pick-up truck pulled out from a parking lot onto Second Line and caused the 2 vehicles to collide.

George Tucker age 54 of 107 Douglas Street, the alleged driver of the truck has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm, over 80 mg., and failing to remain at the scene of an accident. Mr. Tucker is scheduled to appear in court on March 15th. The Tucker vehicle received a moderate amount of damage while the O’Dell vehicle received a severe amount of damage.

BREACH OF PROBATION

A domestic disturbance last night in the central part of the city had one man being arrested. Patrol officers attended at a residence where a couple was arguing and upon arriving they observed the man consuming an alcoholic beverage. The man it was learned is on probation not to consume alcohol. He was subsequently arrested for breach of probation and will appear in court on March 15th.

FENDER BENDER

At 12:43 pm yesterday a 2-vehicle collision at the intersection of Wellington Street West and St Georges Avenue resulted in one driver being charged. Ruby Sharp, age 82 attempted to make a left turn from Wellington St. onto St. Georges Avenue across the path of a vehicle being driven by Norman Bowser, age 72.

The 2 vehicles collided causing a moderate amount of damage to both vehicles. Ms. Sharp was charged with making a left turn and failing to afford a reasonable opportunity to avoid a collision.
