28 WEATHER-RELATED ACCIDENTS YESTERDAY The weather was playing havoc with traffic yesterday. At 3:44 in the afternoon, a 1999 Chev Blazer, operated by 49-year-old Sharon Woods of Richards Landing, was westbound on Trunk Road.

The weather was playing havoc with traffic yesterday. At 3:44 in the afternoon, a 1999 Chev Blazer, operated by 49-year-old Sharon Woods of Richards Landing, was westbound on Trunk Road. The vehicle went out of control as it approached Lake Street, hit a snow band, and flipped over into the ditch. The driver was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The vehicle received severe damage.

This was one of 28 accidents investigated by police yesterday. Most were minor with no injuries and were attributed to road and weather conditions.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
Police have received two reports from students involving suspicious activity. On Feb. 26, at about 8:20 a.m., a student walking to St. Bernadette felt he was being followed by another male. The student was walking north on Lindstedt and the suspicious male chase him a short distance. He was describe as being 5' 10", wearing a dark green coat, beige pants, black gloves, and a balaclava.
