VEHICLE COLLISION
At 12:01 am a motor vehicle collision occurrd at the intersection of Great Northern Rd. and Northern Ave. A 1988 grey Mercury operated by Kenneth Wright, age 63 of Allard St. was southbound on Great Northern when a northbound 1991 Chevrolet turned left from Great Northern onto Northern Ave. and the two collided. The Chrevrolet was operated by 36 year old Noella Lucente of Doncased Rd. She has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and will appear in court on the 25th of February 2002. There were no injuries reported although both vehicles were severely damaged.

ATTEMPTED TELLER MACHINE ROBBERY
At 5:38 am police were notified by a passerby of damage to the ASCU instant teller machine at 535 Trunk Rd. There was extensive damage done to the face of the machine as well as to the rear as entry was gained through a rear door. The vault remained intact and no money was obtained. The investigation is continuing.
