ACCUSED OF SHOPLIFTING Sherri-Lynn McBride, age 29, of 4-123 Willoughby Street will appear in court tomorrow after being charged with theft under $5,000.
ACCUSED OF SHOPLIFTING
Sherri-Lynn McBride, age 29, of 4-123 Willoughby Street will appear in court tomorrow after being charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged that she put over $200 worth of groceries into a shopping cart at A&P on Northern Avenue and then left the store without paying. She was confronted by store security outside the store at which time she allegedly threw her purse at the security officer and ran through the parking lot. She was apprehended a short time later.


MAN THREATENS FORMER WIFE
A 49-year-old local man will appear in court on April 19 to answer charges that he threatened his former spouse with death or bodily harm. He turned himself into city police yesterday. The incident is alleged to have occurred on March 5.


BUYING SEX FROM KIDS UNDER 18
Detectives arrested and charged a 40-year-old man with procuring to have sex with a person under the age of 18. The incidents are reported to have taken place between November 2003 and March 2004. He would offer favours and gifts to his victims. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 19.
