DRUG BUST At approx. 1:50 yesterday afternoon two males were arrested and charged with various offences when a search warrant was executed at their residence. The two accused were found to be in possession of Marihuana, Cocaine and Cannabis Resin.

At approx. 1:50 yesterday afternoon two males were arrested and charged with various offences when a search warrant was executed at their residence. The two accused were found to be in possession of Marihuana, Cocaine and Cannabis Resin.

The drugs, which were individually packaged for sale, have an estimated street value of approximately $3,000.00. Charged with Possession for the purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Substance, Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Probation are: Christopher Robinson, age 18, and William Fleming, 18, both of 134 McNabb St. They will be appearing in court on April 19th at 9:00 a.m.


HIT SEVERAL VEHICLES
At approx. 11:50 yesterday evening a male person left Madison’s Pub, in the Pine Plaza, got into his vehicle and proceeded to drive away. In his attempt to exit the parking lot he struck four parked vehicles.

The accused, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time, then drove off. At approx. 2:15 a.m. the accused was located and arrested for Fail to Remain, Impaired Driving and Drive Over 80 mgs. Charged is Hank Chapman, 28, of 100 Mission Road, Goulais River. He will be appearing in court on April 26th at 9:00 a.m.


BREAK & ENTERS
There were two break and enters reported yesterday morning. One was took place at Ontario Concrete located in the 1100 block of Great Northern Road. Culprits stole a quantity of construction equipment.

The second break-in took place to a residence in the 700 block of McKenzie Avenue. It is not known what was stolen. There was also an attempted break and enter reported at a building in the 300 block of Queen St. E. Culprits broke the glass on the rear window but did not gain entry to the premises.


FIRE AT THE HOSPITAL
City Police and the Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at the General Hospital yesterday at approximately 12:10 p.m. The fire, which was very minor in nature, was located in a located in a paper shredder. The cause is being investigated by the Fire Department.


MISCHIEF TO VACANT HOUSE
Mischief was reported to a vacant house in the 200 block of Second Ave. The owner of the property noticed that unknown person(s) had damaged the rear door and screen.
