Shoplifting Arrest
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 58 year-old Craig Herriman of #308-138 East Street on the 29th of March at 10:20 am at Zellers in the Station Mall. It is alleged that the accused attended at the store and stole an electric shaver. He has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and is to appear in court on the 2nd of May.

Domestic Related Arrest
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 17 year-old female on the 30th of March at 12:22 am at her residence and charged her with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 29th of March at around 11:23 am the accused assaulted her boyfriend. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result. The accused is to appear in court on the 3rd of May.

Break and Enters
• An apartment on Dacey Road was entered sometime during the past week. Some furniture was reported stolen.
• A residence on Pittsburgh Avenue was entered yesterday afternoon between 3-4 pm. Some cash was reported taken.

Theft Reports
• A male was observed stealing licence plates off vehicles parked in a business lot on Great Northern Road near Willoughby Street. The male was described as wearing a black hoodie with purple and white stripes and blue jeans. Officers attended and searched the area for the male with negative results.
• A vehicle parked on Carlbert Street was entered Tuesday overnight. A cell phone and some change were stolen.
• An attempt theft of a vehicle on Poplar Avenue was reported at 11:21 pm last night. The car was rummaged through and a window was smashed.

Mischief Report
A residence on Greenfield Drive was reported egged for the third time this month.
