Female arrested for theft under $ 5,000

Yesterday evening city police attended at the Zellers Store in the Station Mall and arrested Sharri-Lee Robbins, age 54, of 154 Albert St. E Apt #5 for theft under $ 5,000. It is alleged that the accused entered the Zellers Store and stole a pair of sandals valued at approx. $ 40.00. The accused will be appearing in court on June 21st at 9:00 am.

Young male arrested for possession of a controlled substance

Yesterday morning city police were called to a local high school regarding a youth in possession of marihuana.

It is alleged that a 16-year-old male was in possession of two small bags of marihuana. The youth was charged with one count o f possession of a controlled substance. He will be appearing in court on June 22nd at 9:30 am.

A garage was entered in the 100 block of Indiana Dr. Fishing equipment was taken.

Theft

Vehicles were entered at the following locations:

The 100 block of MacDonald Ave. - an I-pod was stolen and the window smashed.

The 100 block of Johnson Ave – a cell phone was taken.

The 400 block of Douglas St. – computer equipment was taken.

A bicycle was stolen from the 300 block of John St.
