Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 54-year-old male breach of a recognizance. It is alleged that the accused, Paul Faubert, who was on a recognizance release order with conditions to not consume alcohol, breached his condition by consuming alcohol. Paul Faubert, age 54 of 370 Old Highway 17, Goulais River is charged with one count of breach of a recognizance.

Three males arrested for theft and possession of stolen property

Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested three males for theft and possession of a stolen motorcycle. It is alleged that the accused persons attended at a residence in the 100 block of Dufferin St. and stole a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle. It is further alleged that the accused then hid the motorcycle in the back yard of a residence in the 100 block of Grace. St.

Charged are two 17-year-old males and 18-year-old Morghan Mateja, of 30 Grace St. Apartment # 3. Mr. Mateja is to appear in bail court this morning. The two youths will be appearing in court on December 6th at 9:30 am.

Male arrested for assault and threatening

Last night members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 22-year-old male for assault and threatening. It is alleged that yesterday evening the accused assaulted a male known to him and then threatened to kill him. Victim suffered minor injuries and did not require medical attention.

Nicholas Wiles, age 22 of 215 Spruce St., is charged with one count of assault and one count of threatening death. Mr. Wiles is to appear in court on December 5th at 9:00 am

Male arrested for theft and breach of probation

Yesterday evening members of the Sault Ste Marie arrested a 21-year-old male for theft and breach of probation. It is alleged that on October 7th 2011 the accused stole a quantity of clothing items from the Sears Store in the Station Mall.

It is further alleged that at the time of this offence the accused was on a probation order release with conditions to keep the peace and be good.

Daniel Murphy, age 21, of 160 Amber St. is charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of breach of probation.

Female arrested for fraud

Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 37-year-old female for fraud. It is alleged that the accused attended at the Zellers Store, in the Station Mall, and selected a quantity of toys. The accused then attended at the Customer Service area in an attempt to return the items for a cash credit. The accused attempted to return $386.89 worth of toys.

The accused was arrested by store security and turned over to police. Michelle Corbiere, age 37, of 1314 Wilkwemokong Dr, Wilkwemokong Ont. is charged with one count of fraud. Ms Corbiere is to appear in court on December 12th at 9:00 am.

Mischief

A window was broken at a residence in the 200 block of Albert St. W. at approximately 9:00 pm last night. A female, describe as: white, 40-45 years of age, thin build, reddish blond hair and wearing a black bomber jacket was seen leaving the area.

Theft

A black 1994 Ford Explorer was reported stolen from the 200 block of Brown St.

Six vehicles were reported entered in the 100 block of Glenwood Ave. Items stolen included cash, a GPS, an IPod, wallets and credit cards.

Four truck tires, on rims were stolen from a yard in the 200 block of Tancred St.

Tools were stolen from a garage in the 400 block of North St.
